While the school district revises curricula and implements effective, research-proven instructional practices on an ongoing basis, it will, in 2012-2013, promote student achievement and elevateprograms by aligning professional development, funding, and accountability with the following five areas: assessment and the differentiation of instruction, instructional technology, personalized student learning plans, curriculum effectiveness (including the revision of curricula), and the Brearley Academies.
